David Cassidy Booked for DUI in Florida
‘Partridge Family’ singer and actor David Cassidy was arrested earlier this week after an incident in Florida. The actor was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
Cassidy was pulled over by the highway patrol after being spotted weaving in and out of traffic. The actor, who claims that he was simply tired and not drunk, was given two alcohol breath tests. The first test registered at .13 and the second test at .14, which is over the state’s legal limit of .08. The arresting officer also claims to have found an empty bottle of bourbon on the floorboard of Cassidy’s vehicle.
Cassidy’s rep, JoAnn Geffen, claims that he would never endanger another person in such a manner.
